PROPOSED PHYSICAL LAYOUT OF BLACK JOHNSON HARBOUR

The Chinese Government gave a Fifty-five Million US Dollar ($55m)) grant to the Government of Sierra Leone (GoSL) for the construction of a Fish Harbour facility spanning 252-acre land mass at the Black Johnson peninsular community.

“The facility will comprise a waste management component which will involve recycling of marine and other waste into useful products. The strategic relevance of the Fish Harbour does not only include revenue generation and job creation, but it will also build the capacity of Sierra Leoneans in vessel repairs and maintenance” Minister Jalloh averred.
