The fisheries of Sierra Leone is valued around US$ 735 million. (Neiland et.al., 2016). The following are poten-tial areas of investment for the fisher-ies sector of Sierra Leone:
1) Onshore Cold storage facilities and support services for fish processing, packaging and fish trade
2) Canning industry for Sardinella (Herring), Mackerel and Tuna Fishery
3) Fibre glass boat manufacturing in-dustry to replace the wooden boats in artisanal fisheries sector
4) Fishing Net Manufacturing Industry to manufacture legal fishing nets for artisanal boats and industrial trawlers
5) Fish Feed manufacturing industry and Mariculture for oysters, to boost aquaculture investment
6) Ice Plants and Fish landing jetties and processing platforms for Public Private Partnership Investments through Special Purpose Vehicles
7)Sierra Leone is blessed with Sea Cucumber which can prevent heart attack in humans. Sea Cucumber Farming is a mari-culture potential
